Could their ideas for a rebooted, reimagined Washington actually work?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Well obviously no one administration can change the government forever, but it can certainly be restored to something better than what we have right now.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a list of specifics about 9 screens down (on my laptop), but for now I&#8217;ll just quote the Key Takeaways at the top.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup\">Democrats are developing their own equivalent to the GOP\u2019s Project 2025 \u2014 a radical new vision for remaking the US government if they take power in 2028.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"uyby7v2 uyby7v1\"><span class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup\">Their ideas would do two things: boost the government\u2019s ability to deliver services efficiently, and constrain the anti-democratic abuses of the Trump era.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"uyby7v2 uyby7v1\"><span class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup\">The goal isn\u2019t just to rebuild the systems that Trump broke, but to use his destruction to rebuild the federal government into something new and more modern.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"uyby7v2 uyby7v1\"><span class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup\">A lot remains to be worked out. The vision is emerging from different groups, only loosely connected.
